Day 1: The Old Town and Cathedral
Morning
9:00 — Pont de Pedra and Onyar houses. Start the day at the stone bridge and admire the iconic coloured houses reflected in the Onyar river. Girona's most photographed image.
10:00 — Jewish Quarter (Call). Stroll through the medieval alleyways of the Call, one of Europe's best-preserved Jewish quarters.
11:30 — Girona Cathedral. Climb the 86 steps (the Game of Thrones steps!) and visit the Cathedral, home to the world's widest Gothic nave.
Afternoon
15:00 — Archaeological Walk. Walk along the top of the Carolingian walls with Cathedral views.
17:00 — Girona Art Museum. Outstanding Romanesque and Gothic art collection.
Day 2: More Girona and surroundings
9:00 — Mercat del Lleó. Girona's municipal market, where the city's restaurants shop. Local produce and authentic atmosphere.
Afternoon — Day trip. Banyoles lake, Figueres (Dalí Museum) or the Costa Brava depending on your preferences.
